Chris Brown Not Happy After Grammy Loss, See His Reaction After Best R&B Album Went to Robert Glasper

Chris Brown did not take the Recording Academy’s decision to exclude him from winning the Best R&B Album award at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards well, and he vented his frustration on social media.

Breezy, the singer’s ninth studio album, was nominated in the category, along with albums by PJ Morton, LuckyDaye, Mary J. Blige, Robert Glasper, and Mary J. Blige from 2022.

Brown posted a question on his Instagram stories on Sunday night, February 5 after losing to Glapser’s Black Radio III that was obvious evidence of his disappointment.

“Who the fuck is Robert Glasper,” he asked in a since-deleted post. The post originally appeared minutes after the untelevised category was awarded.

https://quillbot.The ensuing replies implied that perhaps he needed to hone his musical abilities, and one posted a video made by a fan displaying all of the album’s sales and chart positions as proof of its success.

“I Gotta get my skills up.. ima start playing the harmonica,” he wrote.

The 2023 Best R&B Album award marks Robert Glasper’s fourth Grammy since picking up the same prize for the first iteration of the Black Radio series in 2013, the year after Breezy’s only Grammy win for the album F.A.M.E.
