Darius Appiah: Missing Son Of Ghanaian US-Based Pastor Found Dead

A heartbreaking incident has been reported involving the discovery of the lifeless body of Darius Joshua Appiah, the 22-year-old son of Ghanaian-based pastor Maxwell Appiah.

According to reliable sources, his body was found on Saturday afternoon [February 3] at the Frederiksberg stream in Virginia after being missing for 10 days.

Additional information from the Daily Graphic reveals that a search party, consisting of church members from the Revelation City church, emergency workers, and volunteers, located Darius Joshua Appiah’s body near the stream.

The search had been conducted for two days, starting from Alum Springs Park in the city, where Darius’s car had been found. Darius Appiah had gone missing on Wednesday, January 23, 2024, after leaving work at 2:22 p.m. to have lunch. Initial reports indicated that his phone mysteriously shut down shortly after he couldn’t be traced from the restaurant where he picked up his lunch, hindering any efforts to locate him.

His parents and the Stafford Sheriff’s Office began posting flyers on social media pages on Thursday, January 25, 2024, after Darius was last seen, indicating that he was a missing adult.

Unfortunately, the 10-day search concluded tragically when the search party discovered his body at a local creek in Frederiksberg. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office will be leading the investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding Darius’s disappearance and untimely death.

City police spokeswoman Sarah Morris stated that Darius Appiah’s body has been taken to a medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death. She assured the public that the city police are actively investigating his death.
