Drama In Serie A As Juventus Regain 15 Points Previously Deducted

There’s drama in Serie A after Juventus’ 15-point deduction was reversed.

The fact that Napoli is still easily winning the championship is unchangeable, but the decision to restore the points that were docked after a financial irregularities probe was begun has drastically improved Juventus’ situation.

Juve was accused of misleading business communications, deceptive stock market communications, and obstruction of watchdog authorities. As a result, numerous top club officials left their roles, including former president Andrea Agnelli and club legend Pavel Nedved.

Juventus’ guilt or innocence will be determined by a new trial, but that’s not much help to the other teams who have now been demoted due to the points being given back to Juventus.

Juventus has a legitimate potential to return to the top of European football under Massimiliano Allegri, which may bring in significant revenue for the team if they can keep up their performance and go to the semifinals.

Even second-place Lazio is within striking distance, so Juventus will need to stop some of their recent losses. A disheartening 1-0 loss to Sassuolo, who are just outside the top half of the standings, was their most recent setback.
