A devastating fire broke out on Monday night, which completely destroyed the ICGC church and school building at Dunkwa-on-Offin in the Central Region.
The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, as reported by Dunkwa TV, a YouTube channel dedicated to covering the Dunkwa township. The fire originated in the school and quickly spread to the neighbouring church building.
Both the ICGC temple and the Central School are situated within the same compound in Dunkwa.
Witnesses recounted the rapid spread of the fire, prompting desperate cries for help from onlookers.
Efforts were made to combat the blaze by summoning the fire service to the scene.
