The body of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad is set to be exhumed for examination by his family, according to a new report.
The report adds that the late singer’s remains was to be exhumed tonight, September 18, or at the latest tomorrow morning, according to Solo, who provided the update. He also said that the Police are now interviewing the late singer’s parents.
Recall that Tru News Report earlier reported that in order to determine the immediate and indirect causes of the death of singer Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command established a 13-person commission on Monday, September 18.
At the panel’s introduction, Idowu Owohunwa, the state’s commissioner of police, urged the public to provide information to help with the inquiry while being surrounded by Mohbad’s family members. He said that all information, including videos, would be used in the investigation and that it would not be limited to just one or two people.
According to him, the command will target anyone the investigation finds appropriate. The command may pick up anyone, no matter where they are in the world, he added.
Wherever you are in this world, do not forget that we have access to Interpol.
Everyone connected to the regrettable occurrence will be found and hauled in, the police chief added. Within two weeks, the panel is expected to deliver its report. View the press conference video below.
