Nigerian Actress Gbemi Anjola Reported Dead

Fast rising star Gbemi Anjola has reportedly died. Since 2021, Gbemi had been fighting ovarian cancer.

She underwent six months of chemotherapy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and then returned to Nigeria after receiving the all-clear.

She, unfortunately, experienced memory loss and pain on March 24, 2023, and was taken to the hospital right away where she sadly passed away

Her colleague Zainab Balogun shared the news of her demise on her Instagram page. Nollywood stars such as Nkechi Blessing, Kunle Afod, Biodun Okeowo, and others expressed their condolences in the comments section.

In other Nollywood stories, Anita Joseph and a troll clashed on Insatgram after she recently posted a dapper photo of her husband and gushed over him effusively.

She had shared a picture of her husband alongside an intriguing caption that reads;

My husband my king my prayer partner “ The LOVE of my gorgeous Life 💜 My partner in Christ “ My forever Crush “ My gist and cruise partner “ My playmate my confidant “ My Videographer my photographer my Director “ My Love here’s to more happy years pappy @realmcfish I’ve begged God Almighty to Bless your Life with me in it ,for I do not know any High priest who can do what only God can do 🙏 Jehovah Thank you for this man you have blessed me with “ Thank you for his Mum (my Mum) Who raised him so well🙏💚❤️ Thank you for bringing him this far and all his Accomplishments Amen👏 Thank you for always and always paving ways for him thank you Lord 💚

While receiving tons of mixed reactions from her fans and colleagues, one netizen emerged to muddy the water.

Identified by her username as dstylemasters_salon_spa_makeup, the troll proceeded to comment and ask her to get pregnant for her husband. Her comment read: 

“Please get pregnant for him and bear him sons and daughters mam, I pray God will make it come to pass, Amen.” 

In Anita Joseph’s defence @vadyelizabeth replied by saying: 

“na cus of diz rubbish comment make am no too dey post me children for here. Once u open ur mouth l waaaa odor everywhere d.”

Meanwhile Anita Joseph just calmly responded saying:  “it is well.”
