Watch Moment Adom FM Presenter Wept And Begged Akufo-Addo Over ‘Dumsor’

The deteriorating state of frequent power outages, commonly known as dumsor, has prompted an on-air personality from Adom FM to humbly request President Nana Akufo-Addo to urgently address the issue.

Jerry Forson, the host of Dwaso Nsem, a prominent program on one of Accra’s leading FM stations, passionately expressed his concerns about the dumsor crisis. He questioned why Akufo-Addo and his team are subjecting Ghanaians to such hardships.

In a heartfelt gesture, Jerry Forson knelt down and sincerely implored the president to forgive the Ghanaian people if they had unintentionally offended him, which may have led to this unprecedented suffering, including the dumsor situation.

Furthermore, he extended his plea to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 elections, and Mathew Opoku, the Minister of Energy, urging them to come to the aid of Ghanaians in this regard.

In the same vein, Berla Mundi penned an open letter to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, urging him to address the pressing issue of the energy crisis, commonly known as dumsor, that has plagued the nation.

Respectfully, she implored the President and the energy sector handlers to refrain from deceiving the Ghanaian people with false information and propaganda, as the citizens are enduring the distressing consequences of this ongoing crisis.

The famed television personality highlighted that the data obtained by her and fellow journalists at TV3 revealed a shortage of fuel to generate power.

This, she claims contradicts the claims made by the President and his officials, who attribute the power outages to faulty transformers.
