Get Mohammed Kudus A Stool – Entertainment Critic Vida Adutwum ‘Begs’ GTA

Entertainment critic Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng has urged the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) to consider gifting Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus a traditional stool for his goal celebrations.

Kudus has made an impressive start to his debut season in the English Premier League and has developed a unique goal celebration that has become synonymous with his growing reputation in the league.

After scoring, he swiftly heads towards the touchline in search of a stool or advertising board to sit on.

This celebration has now become his trademark, with other players even attempting to imitate it. However, a recent incident occurred over the weekend when a ball boy refused to provide him with a stool to commemorate his celebration during their thrilling match against Newcastle.

In light of this, Vida Adutwum has proposed that a specially crafted stool, adorned with Ghana’s national colours, be created and sent to the Ghanaian player for his celebrations.

In a video shared on her TikTok account on April 1, Vida suggested that the Ghana Tourism Authority send Kudus a beautifully decorated stool that he could use as a prop.

“Ghana Tourism Authority, get a stool or chair or something and decorate it with patriotic and cultural symbols and send it to Kudus. Anytime he scores, someone can bring it out for him to sit on.

“Do you know the number of times that stool would be promoted by the international media and how it would promote our local tourism? I am pleading with you, get Kudus a befitting stool, and I bet it’s going to be the most talked-about stool in Ghana after the Golden Stool,” she said.
