“Fighting to come to terms Wofa Kwabena Kwakye passed on after being on the radio and TV yesterday morning, and then another huge one hit us this morning. Poqua Poku wow! I had to wait for confirmation from your cousin, but still don’t want to believe this mehnnnn. Death is cruel and sometimes you wonder why it can be cold. Ah !” Afia Akoto’s post read.

Meanwhile, some celebs close to her have confirmed the story, as depicted in the following social media posts:

Dear Lord, 💔 everyone is shocked and devastated God forbid this happen to any woman we know again. Too painful why? Ah! 💔 Every woman deserve to go to labour and return safe with her safe new born. Ah! If you go to deliver whether through vaginal birth or cs and return alive, never let God’s praises depart from your lips. To think that some of us have survived it more than once safe and sound is just by sheer grace and luck. Alhamdullilah 100000times. 💔💔💔💔 God forbid maternal mortality today, tomorrow and forever because it is stealing our precious women away. 💔💔 RIP to Pokua Poku such a pleasant person like this. Ah! That is why I love the law, straight away sue for negligence eventhough we can’t get her back alive.💔 Then again the question of how some of our grandmothers and mothers got saved even after giving birth to plenty children is something we should revisit to see if we can adapt the good methods they used.
