Ghanaian Youngster Genesis Antwi Signs Scholarship Contract With Chelsea

Ghanaian youngster Genesis Antwi has committed his future to Chelsea by signing a scholarship agreement with the team.

Friday, July 6, 2023, saw the completion of the agreement, securing Antwi’s spot in Chelsea’s Under-18 squad. Antwi has received a scholarship offer from Chelsea, a sign of their confidence in his ability.

This will provide him with the chance to advance in the renowned youth program and continue his skill development. With the opportunity to continue growing under the direction of a knowledgeable coaching staff and participate in youth competitions, this accomplishment represents a significant step for young players on their route to a career in professional football.

The 16-year-old Antwi wants to join the ranks of accomplished academy alums who have made important contributions to the professional game.

The Chelsea U18 team performed admirably last season under the direction of coach Ed Brand, placing eighth in the league, making it to the FA Youth Cup semifinals, and winning the Under-18 Premier League Cup after defeating Fulham at Craven Cottage.
