God Made No Mistake Creating Man And Woman- ‘Roman Father’ Says As He Gets Married
“God did not make a mistake when he created a man and a woman and He said it is not good for somebody to be alone.”
An ordained Kenyan Catholic priest has made the unconventional decision to enter into matrimony. In accordance with Catholic customs, priests are expected to embrace a life of celibacy, however, Reverend Father Edwin Gathang’i Waiguru has chosen to align himself with a distinct faction called the Catholic Charismatic church.
The wedding ceremony, officiated by Bishop Patrick Mulau of the Kirinyaga Charismatic Church, took place on Sunday in Kiambu country, situated to the north of the capital city, Nairobi.
After being sent to preach in North and South America, Father Waiguru expressed a desire to establish a family and enter into matrimony. Upon his return to Kenya, he made the decision to partake in a traditional wedding ceremony.
As a result of this union, the couple was bestowed with the joy of parenthood, welcoming two children into their lives. Furthermore, Father Waiguru underwent a re-ordination as a Charismatic priest, solidifying his commitment to his religious vocation. Additionally, he officiated his own marriage, affirming that he has successfully fulfilled his divine calling as a priest.
“I am very happy. To my wife, I promise to love you always,” he said.
Hundreds of the couple’s family and friends went to witness the unusual ceremony, NTV reports.
