Harry Kane Advised To Take Over As Tottenham Manager

Harry Kane has been instructed to remain at Tottenham and handle the team on the back of their abysmal run in the 2022/23 season.

The player’s future is still unknown despite rumours that Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing him this summer.

Despite requests from his supporters and commentators to quit the club and go in search of championships, the 30-year-old, who is the best scorer in the history of the club, has not yet made a decision regarding his future.

His current contract expires in 2024, but according to sources, he is eager to extend it to allow him to transfer for free. On Sunday, Kane watched helplessly as the north London team suffered another loss to Liverpool.

Sam Matterface, a football analyst, has however advised that the England captain remain at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and take on the role of player-manager for his cherished squad in a recent interview on talkSPORT.

He stated;

Harry Kane should become the manager, he might as well. If Ryan Mason is doing it at the age of 31, why can’t Harry Kane? If he is going to stay there, he might as well double up, it sounded like he was calling the shots last week anyway.

Ryan Mason took over on an interim basis following the dismissal of caretaker manager, Cristian Stellini who was asked to step in after the sack of Antonio Conte.

How old is Harry Kane?

Harry Kane is 29 years old. He was born on 28 July 1993. He is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and captains the England national team. A prolific goalscorer with strong link play, Kane is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. He is both Tottenham Hotspur’s and England’s all-time highest goalscorer, as well as the second-highest Premier League all-time goalscorer.
