How I Went From Being Booed On Stage To Creating My Own Stage Now- Sydney Talker Shares Story

Sydney Talker, a popular Nigerian comedian, recently recounted a touching story about the evolution of his comedy career.

In a Twitter post, he candidly shared his initial experience of being booed on stage when he first embarked on his journey as a stand-up comedian.

What made this particular moment truly unforgettable for him was the fact that he went as far as apologizing to the audience for delivering a dry joke, which unfortunately resulted in some backlash from the unappreciative fans.

In 2017. I was booed, the first time I climbed the stage as a STAND UP COMEDIAN. I had to apologize to everyone for coming on stage. Then I decided to never step on any stage again. I told myself that the only way I’ll come back on stage again is if I create the stage myself. 6 years later, GOD DID and I’m back on stage as a CONTENT CREATOR!!!!

The stage is set!!!! @Influenceconcet was a big success! Watch the space cause This is just the beginning!!! Thank you to all my fans, friends and family for coming out🙏🏾. God bless y’all. Also, thank you to all my colleagues that came to support me🙏🏾 I love and appreciate y’all ❤️ Special thanks to my lord and savior JESUE! ❤️🫶🏾
