I Am Now A Father- Phyno Emotionally Tells Fans

Nigerian hip-hop artiste Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, professionally known as Phyno is a father for the first time, and he duly notified his fans of this lovely development while disclosing reasons for his hiatus in the music circles.

The rapper shared a photo of himself and his newborn baby, who rested admiringly in his arms, in a post shared on Monday, February 28, 2023. In his words, he took some time off to literally be with his first child, which explains why he has no new song to satisfy his fans

Phyno’s real name is Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike. He is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. A native of Anambra State, Phyno was born and raised in Enugu State. He started his music career as a producer in 2003 and is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language.

His debut studio album, No Guts No Glory, was released in 2014. It was supported by the singles “Ghost Mode”, “Man of the Year”, “Parcel” and “O Set”. Phyno has worked with artists such as Olamide, Wizkid, Davido, Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, Bracket, J. Martins and Mr Raw.

Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, a native of Anambra State, was born and raised in Enugu State. He is widely known by his stage name, Phyno, which was given to him by a secondary school friend and derived from the word “phenomenal”.

Phyno developed a keen interest in music production during his secondary school days, where he learned to play the drums and piano, and created his own rendition of every recording he heard. Although he initially aspired to become a pilot, he was advised to pursue a career in medicine. He went on to study public administration at the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu, where he began to profit from music during his second year.
