I Had Mike When I Was 24 — Omotola Says Proudly As Her Son Picks Her From Airport

Veteran actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has proudly shared a video of her son driving her home from the airport.

The versatile screen diva whose moniker Omosexy resonates with her legions of fans admitted to her fans that many of them find it difficult to comprehend her motherhood journey and the reasons behind her excitement over being picked up by her son at the airport.

Omotola Jalade, who previously admitted to moving her family overseas, has now arrived in London, where one of her sons, Michael, picked her up at the airport.

She revealed that she began having children at the age of 19, and Michael was born when she was 24 in a video she shared of her joyous self in her son’s car. She penned:

Kiddo is grown… he’s now picking me up in his own car! They actually sent him to pick me up…. Yup! Honeyboy… we free! Started having kids at 19 so you don’t understand my journey… had micky age 24 so hey # let me feel young Againnnnnnnnnn. He even selected my kinda playlist To serenade me… oh yeah.

Since making her Nollywood début in 1995, Omotola has starred in more than 300 movies, many of which have sold millions of copies. Omotola is the first and only celebrity from Nigeria to have more than one million likes on her Facebook profile.

She presently has 3 million Facebook fans in total. She appeared in Time magazine’s ranking of the top 100 global influencers in 2013. Ekeinde made a fleeting cameo on the VH1 scripted series Hit the Floor in 2013.

She gave a speech at the WISE- Summit 2013, which was hosted in Doha, Qatar, on November 2, 2013. For her services to Nigerian cinema, she was honoured by the Nigerian government in 2014 when she was named a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
