The fetish priest who went viral after he tried to disrupt a demolition exercise masterminded by the police at Nima, a suburb of Accra and got arrested in the process has finally spoken.
Speaking to reporters, notably Onua TV and Kofi TV, the man said he had supernatural powers that could have enabled him to vanish, but he decided to be diplomatic with the police officers. He claimed that he freely submitted to the police officials in charge of the demolition exercise because he didn’t want to be a bad person.
The charm-wearing fetish priest was detained on Wednesday, August 16, by police officers monitoring demolition activity in Nima, Accra. He had been invited by some irate inhabitants to stop the demolition process.
However, a dramatic event was captured on camera, and some residents cheered the angry-looking fetish priest on as he invaded the demolition site and asked him to demonstrate his abilities to the authorities. Unfortunately, things went south, and he ended up being detained instead of stopping the men in uniform from continuing the ‘illegal’ process.
