I Have Four Wives And Five Children- Highlife Singer Dada KD

During a recent interview on Kingdom FM with seasoned broadcaster and radio personality Fiifi Praat, Highlife singer Dada Kweku Duah aka Dada KD shared insights into his personal life.

He revealed that he is currently in relationships with four women, each of whom he has children with. Despite the public perception that he is not married, Dada KD clarified that he considers all the women he has children with as his wives, rather than just baby mamas.

According to Dada KD, he views any woman he has a child with as his wife by default, as he believes that the child represents their union.

He emphasized that formal marriage ceremonies, whether traditional or white weddings are not necessary for him to consider the women as his wives.

Therefore, Dada KD has communicated to all his partners that he regards himself as their husband based on his unique perspective on relationships.

During a past interview that took place two years ago, the vocalist explained the reasons behind his decision to not pursue marriage.

Dada KD said in an interview that “I see the ring as a mini handcuff and once you wear it, you’re limited on how to live your life.”

He stated that there are some principles he wants to live by alone, and feels the marriage won’t allow him to do certain things in the name of marriage.

“I see marriage as an institution we have been tricked into believing and influenced to follow, specifically counseling organized for the couple before they marry,” he said.

He mentioned he does not see the essence of counseling before marriage.

“I believe you can decide on whom you want to marry by the behavior and character of the person. So if you can’t deal with these two then you should move on,” he said.

He disclosed that a lot of people have died because of being forced into marriage and also by marrying the wrong person which is something he does not want to experience.

“I want to live a peaceful life and enjoy myself to the fullest so I will not get married,” he noted.
