I Want To Remain In My Corner- Benedicta Gafah Opens Up On Absence From Spotlight

Actress Bedicata Gafah has explained that she prefers to keep a low profile because she values her privacy.

She mentioned that she would rather focus on her work and steer clear of unnecessary drama that often accompanies being constantly in the public eye.

Gafah emphasized that she believes true relevance comes from the quality of her work, not from always being in the spotlight. Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, Gafah said.

I don’t think being loud all over the place with nothing to offer makes one remain really relevant. If I have a new movie to premiere, landed a new ambassadorial deal, or addressed an important issue, that is when I want to be heard So if nothing of that nature is happening, I want to remain in my corner and mind my business till the right time.

The actress emphasized that consistent exposure without meaningful substance can result in unwelcome attention and rumours.

“In fact, it is deliberate to remain quiet and reflect on my life and think of the future. Sometimes, being everywhere and not offering anything gives people the chance to look into your private stuff. People are always curious to find out more about you, so if you are loud and exposed, you have nothing to hide,” she stated.

Benedicta may not be seen on screens at the moment, but she suggested that she is engaged in lucrative ventures. Nevertheless, she decided not to reveal the details of these ventures. As a film producer, she credited her ability to steer clear of trouble to her close-knit group of friends and her avoidance of risky environments.

“I have managed to stay out of trouble because I have few friends and do not hang out at places where I would get into trouble,” she concluded.
