I Was Not There For Them—Duncan Williams Regrets Not Bonding With His Children

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan William has openly admitted that one of his shortcomings as a parent was his inability to be there for his children when they needed him the most.

In a video, the renowned man of God expressed his deepest regrets for prioritizing his own pursuits and financial endeavours over spending quality time with his children.

He took this opportunity to advise other parents to prioritize their children and ensure that they do not create an irreplaceable void in their relationships.

“As I was dancing with them and exercising with them in the pool, I realized that was what U should have done when my children were their age. Let me say this to fathers and mothers. I know you mean well and I know you love your kids and I know you got to make ends meet, you got to go out there because life is tough, life is not fair and life does not give you what you desire but what you fight for.

“But while fighting for everything, make a little time for them to bond with them because when you don’t bond with them now, there will come a time when there will be such a vacuum between you and them and that is going to take a lot of fill.

“One of my sons doesn’t call me dad. I’ve done everything to make him know I’m not called sir and he should call me dad, but he keeps unconsciously calling me sir because he never saw me as a dad but sir. He saw me as an anointed gifted man of God but not a dad because I was never around,” Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams said.

It remains uncertain whether his statement is influenced by the behaviour of his youngest son, Daniel Duncan Williams, whose controversial actions on social media have often tarnished the family’s esteemed reputation.

Daniel, also known as Dee Wills, a budding rapper, has made various allegations against his family, including his father’s lack of support for his rap career, resulting in their estrangement.

He claims that his videos are a means of staying true to himself and connecting with his fans. Additionally, he accuses his father of orchestrating his arrest and subsequent imprisonment. Daniel has also taken to his Twitter account to share explicit videos of himself and other women.
