“I’m A Huge Fan Of Taylor Swift And Rihanna; I’d Love To Feature Them” – Stonebwoy

Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has said that he would like to collaborate with either American pop star Taylor Swift or Barbadian diva Rihanna.

The Ghanaian Afropop, Reggae, and Dancehall musician said on PM Express with Evans Mensah on Wednesday that he is a huge fan of the legendary musicians and would love to collaborate with either of them on a song. However, he was appreciative of the opportunity to feature internationally acclaimed musicians.

“I’ve featured most of the people I’ve been dying to feature; Shaggy, Sean Paul, Angelique Kudjoe, and they are international. So right now I’m thinking technically too much, but if I am to just move as a fan, I’ll do Taylor Swift or Rihanna.” he said.

In his recent interview, Stonebwoy praised the adaptable nature of his most recent album, 5th Dimension. He stated his intention to create music that is up to par with worldwide standards so that it can stand the test of time.

“The styles that I have been propagating over the years are quite interesting. I have a hit song in Highlife, and I have a dancehall and Afrobeat hit. So I term it to be the music of black origin because that is how high my inspiration goes.

“So I needed to put all of this into a very suitable situation where the world can assimilate in today’s time, which is also going to be futuristic,” he added.

Tracklist for Stoneboy’s 5th Dimension album

The tracklist for Stonebwoy’s upcoming Reggae-Dancehall record, “5th Dimension,” which was dropped on Friday, April 28, 2023, was released days before the album was dropped.

His 17-track album contains his smash hit song “Activate,” which features Davido, as well as his most current song, “More of You,” which is the third song on the album. The album also features tracks 12 and 17 by Grammy winners Shaggy and Angelique Kidjo, as well as “Therapy” on track 5 by Oxlade and Tiwa Savage, two other Nigerian artists.

While on tour in the US, the father of two recently discussed the 5th Dimension album in an interview and stated that the project would feature some reggae and Amapiano music.

He added that the album would feature artists who are not just well-known or popular commercially. The singer known by the stage name 1Gad claimed that, as an example, he has “niche market female artistes on there” because he has faith in the quality of the “product” that will result from their collaboration.

“We have Amapiano on there. Amapiano is actually the most popular style of music out of South Africa right now, which is also weaving through the world.

We’re merging it with the Afrobeats proper,” the father of two noted. I put [the] Dancehall flavour and my style over it as well.

In fact, the album features one of the biggest artistes and DJs from South Africa [called] Maporisa. You’re going to get a Reggae song on there. You’re going to get beautiful songs,” he promised.
