Watch Stonebwoy’s Performance At The Closing Ceremony Of 13th African Games

Stonebwoy delivered an outstanding performance to conclude the 13th African Games held in Ghana.

With Shatta Wale, his main rival, opening the show as the main headliner, all eyes were on Stonebwoy to see how he would measure up.

The fans of both artists eagerly awaited their performances, hoping to witness the continuation of their long-standing rivalry.

Stonebwoy, representing the Bhim Nation, showcased his immense talent by performing a series of his popular songs from his extensive repertoire. His vocals were on point, and his delivery perfectly synchronized with the music.

Despite not having a live band accompanying him, Stonebwoy made sure that his voice resonated loud and clear, ensuring that he wasn’t overshadowed by the DJ’s speakers.

As expected, the debate has already begun among fans of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, each claiming that their favourite artist outshined the other.

Nevertheless, it is truly gratifying to witness these two prominent acts sharing the stage, promoting their artistry not only to Africa but also to the rest of the world.

In the final days of the competition, Ghana emerged victorious in various events, securing a total of 19 gold medals.

This achievement marks the highest number of gold medals the country has ever attained in the history of the African Games. Previously, Ghana’s record was set in the 1973 edition, where they won seven gold medals.

Overall, Ghana concluded the competition with an impressive total of 68 medals, which is also the highest number the country has ever achieved in Africa’s largest sporting festival.

Despite their outstanding performance, Ghana was unable to break into the top five positions. Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, and Algeria maintained their positions as the top five countries respectively. Ghana currently holds the sixth position with 68 medals.

Egypt leads the medal tally with an impressive haul of 187 medals, followed by Nigeria with 121 medals. South Africa increased their medal count to 106, Algeria has 114 medals, and Tunisia has 86 medals, completing the top five.

Other notable countries in the top ten include Morocco with 34 medals, Ethiopia with 22 medals, Mauritius with 25 medals, and Kenya with 35 medals.

On the other hand, Chad, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, and Rwanda each have one medal and are ranked 41st, occupying the last position on the medal table.
