I’m Fine- Sarkodie Reacts For The First Time After His Feature On Bob Marley’s ‘Stir It Up’ Got Him In Trouble With Fans

Sarkodie has finally reacted to the plethora of criticisms that trailed his historic collab with Bob Marley on the evergreen song Stir It Up.

Ghanaians, from music lovers to connoisseurs bashed the respected Ghanaian rapper for his unexpected below-par performance delivered on the high-profile song.

Recall that while the Sarkodie-Bob Marley feature dominated the discourse on the Ghanaian landscape of the internet, Highlife singer Bisa Bisa Kdei also added his voice and opined that Bob Marley will be extremely grateful and spin joyfully in his grave over the feature.

In an interview on Rainbow Rainbow, Kdei said there’s nothing wrong with the historic collab as expressed by naysayers of the Ghanaian rapper.

“I believe it is lovely. It is a lovely thing. If someone asked me to be on a Michael Jackson song, I would be honoured. I’d feel really honoured. It is a lovely thing,” he argued.

After the heckling he was subjected to on social media, Sarkodie recently granted an interview on YFM where he mentioned that he is not bothered by the development.

According to him, he is okay with the criticism because he expects it at this point in his rapidly advancing musical career.

YFM quoted Sarkodie as saying;

The negativity around ‘Stir It Up’ doesn’t bother me because I think that’s just finding it difficult to believe. The stage I’m at in my career now comes with things like this, and I’m fine with it.
