It’s Going To Be A Very Difficult One For All Of Us – Sarkodie Pays Tribute To His Late Lawyer

Ace Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has written a touching tribute for his lawyer, Cynthia Quarcoo, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 52.

Cynthia Quarcoo was known as a prominent legal figure in Ghana’s thriving music and entertainment sector, having represented celebrities such as Sarkodie, Samini, Dagaati, and Reggie Rockstone.

According to the musician’s Facebook post, there was an unexplainable sense of fate around his first meeting with Cynthia Quarcoo. He continued by saying he knew she would play a significant role in his life’s journey from the moment they first met.

“I knew you were meant to be a part of this trip the moment we first met. It almost felt like you were stalking me because you knew everything about me. After being shifted, I thought, “Now that’s my lawyer!” Since our first encounter, we have never been apart. With so many memories, moving past this will be quite difficult. one of the few persons with whom I am frank. Mama Cee! You ought to have at least told me you weren’t feeling well, but knowing you, I know you don’t want us to feel sorry for you,” Sarkodie wrote.

According to Sarkodie, Cynthia Quarcoo was one of the few people in his life with whom he felt truly at ease sharing his deepest, darkest, most personal thoughts and feelings.

Sarkodie also posted a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram story in which he expressed his appreciation for the time they shared together and the wisdom she shared with him.

“This is going to be a very difficult one for all of us, but I guess that’s the price to pay when you open up to love. It was unusual not hearing from you in these few days because, knowing my Mama Cee, she would be the first person to text me, worried and then tease me… I sent you a WhatsApp asking, ‘Mama C, Na mentee wonka oo ©, but after several hours of seeing two ticks, I felt something was wrong, and then they broke the news to me. We know what you would love for all of us (to be strong). We will try, Mama C! J. Condolences to the family and friends, especially the children… let’s stay strong,” he added.
