According to a Nigerian stylist living in the UK, she would be unable to date a man who proposed splitting the bill on a date.
According to the woman going by the name of Oyinda, even though she has no special issue with splitting the bill, any man who toes that lane eliminates any chance of ever being a couple
By virtue of the act, she explained that she would find it difficult to see such a man as a romantic interest, and their platonic relationship was cemented.
Oyinda said this on the microblogging site Twitter, emphasizing that her issue is not hunger because she enjoys dining out with or without a partner.
She tweeted;
The problem isn’t splitting bills on dates cos I’m not a hungry babe, eating out is my forte with or without man. The problem is my brain struggles to continue to see you as a romantic interest after we split bills. We are buddies now, might as well fist bump before we call it a night.
