I’ve Over 1,000 Unreleased Songs- NBA YoungBoy Brags

NBA Given the number of unreleased tracks YoungBoy has on hand, it would seem that he could continue to release music at his frenetic rate.

The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native took some time to estimate how many tunes are now in his vault that may or may not see the light of day during his first-ever interview with Billboard. YoungBoy estimates that he has over 1,000 unheard tunes.

The author clarified YoungBoy spends much of his time either playing Xbox or freestyling music off the top of his head and recording it all night. He doesn’t write anything down or use a pen; instead, he draws inspiration for his lyrics from whatever is happening in his life at the time.

Before confessing he had “run out of lyrics,” YoungBoy had attempted to release 10 mixtapes in a single year. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old rapper found success with his machine-like mentality.

He has 26 projects on the Billboard 200 and 96 entries on the Billboard Hot 100; 12 of those albums reached the Top 10 and four reached No. 1 on the charts.

I Rest My Case, YoungBoy’s first album of 2023, was released last month and has playful songs without any explicit violence.

After selling 29,000 copies in its first week, the album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200. YoungBoy released I Rest My Case, his tenth project in just over a year, as he maintained his furious tear with fresh songs following his July conviction in his federal firearms case.

The rapper’s real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden. He has released eight independent mixtapes between 2015 and 2017, steadily building a cult following.

Gaulden signed with Atlantic Records toward the end of 2017. He released the song “Outside Today” in January 2018, and it reached its top position of number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His 2018 debut studio album, Until Death Call My Name, which featured the song as its lead single, reached at number seven on the US Billboard 200.
