Jamie Foxx Health Is Improving After Facing A Medical Complication, Says Daughter Corinne Foxx

The Oscar-winning actor is doing fine after experiencing a “medical complication” on Tuesday, according to a message posted to Instagram on Wednesday by the actor’s daughter, Corinne Foxx. She stated, “He is already on his way to recovery,” after he fell ill while shooting in Atlanta.

After a “medical complication,” Jamie Foxx’s family announced on Wednesday night that the actor was admitted to an Atlanta hospital.

“We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, posted in a statement on Instagram. “Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

There were no further details provided, though it was reported by TMZ and other sites that Foxx was initially taken to the hospital on Tuesday.

On the set of his new Netflix film Back In Action, which also stars Cameron Diaz, the 55-year-old actor was most recently spotted. The latter of whom is making her cinematic acting comeback after nearly a decade. Foxx and the film’s director, Seth Gordon, previously collaborated on the comedy Horrible Bosses, which also starred Andrew Scott and Jamie Demetriou.

Foxx, 55, was nominated for an Academy Award for both his part as Ray Charles in the biopic Ray and his supporting performance in the Tom Cruise movie Collateral. He won the Oscar for best actor in 2005.

Django Unchained, Annie, Jarhead, and the Spider-Man movie are a few more examples of influential cinema.

Also, in 2010, he won a Grammy for his track “Blame It,” and he has released five albums, four of which have charted in the US Top 10.
