Kris Jenner Reveals She Has A Tumor In New Trailer Of The Kardashians

In the latest preview for the fifth season of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner shared an important health update with her family.

The popular reality series, now streaming on Hulu, is set to return on 23 May, promising more drama and unexpected challenges.

On 8 May, a fresh trailer was released, featuring the self-proclaimed “momager” discussing a concerning discovery made by her doctors during a heartfelt conversation with her daughters.

In the trailer, Kris said: “I had my scan.”

“They found a cyst and like a little tumour,” she continued, alongside her boyfriend Corey Gamble.

The camera then shifted focus to Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, all gathered around their mother. Khloe’s expression turned blank as Kendall hurried to comfort her younger sister, who was in tears. The teaser did not reveal any further information, leaving viewers in suspense about the location and nature of the tumour until the episode aired.

Based on the scenes in the trailer, the season seems to be set in fall 2023, featuring footage from fashion week, Halloween, and Kourtney Kardashian’s emergency surgery.

In one clip, the Lemme founder is shown in the final stages of her pregnancy with her fourth child. She is depicted talking on the phone with her mother before being taken to the hospital in September 2023 for fetal surgery.

Fetal surgery is a procedure performed on unborn babies still in the mother’s uterus, as explained by the Mayo Clinic. During this time, her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, shared on social media that the “urgent” surgery was “life-threatening” but ultimately successful.

The couple, who tied the knot in May 2022, welcomed their first child together, son Rocky, on 1 November. Since then, they have chosen to keep their baby boy away from the public eye.

Nevertheless, the wellness entrepreneur has been quite transparent regarding her postpartum journey and the transformations her body has undergone after welcoming her fourth child.

On May 4th, Kourtney took to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes glimpses from a promotional photoshoot for the upcoming season. In the accompanying caption, she bravely expressed her insecurities about her self-perception, acknowledging that she wasn’t feeling her best three months after giving birth.

“I was three months postpartum and not feeling quite ready for a big shoot like this where there’s lots and lots of people watching me all day,” she admitted.

“And even though my baby boy was with me all day on set it’s not the same when I’m covered in makeup, in high heels and wearing a dress versus our snuggly days at home in pajamas.”
