Kumawood Actor Oteele Narrowly Escapes Death After Deadly Accident

Kumawood star Oteele has been involved in a ghastly car accident but luckily escaped death by a whisker.

The plus-sized actor narrated how the ill-fated accident occurred in an interview with GHPage, saying the accident occurred as he was travelling to Sunyani to promote a product as its brand ambassador.

According to him, a reckless driver manoeuvring a tricycle, popularly called Aboboyaa in the local parlance was travelling at top speed on the Sunyani-Bechem Highway and crossed his vehicle. He said to avoid hitting him, he landed straight into an open gutter which mangled his car in the process.

Oteele asserts that he sustained minor head injuries while driving with the marketing director of the product he was meant to promote. He was transferred to Bechem SDA hospital after the incident, where he got treatment and was yesterday released. He had to go back to the hospital, though, this morning due to extreme discomfort.

In other Kumawood stories, actor and comedian, Ras Nene aka Dr Likee recently said he gets emotional anytime he poses with his fans who are children for photos following the demise of his little daughter not too long ago.

Before becoming a skit maker, the actor who portrayed gangsterism in movies remarked that losing a child is an indescribable sadness and that it’s necessary to have a support structure to help with the grieving process.

Ras Nene admitted that playing with other children or posing for photos with the children of his admirers tends to bring to memory the toddler’s tragic passing. Ras Nene said that despite the excruciating agony of losing his daughter, he remains strong because he knows that God has His own plans.

The Kumawood actor lost his daughter in February, it will be recalled. Ras spoke about how the pain resurfaces anytime his fans, most of whom are kids, swarm around him for pictures when he goes to events.
