The family of Nana Yaw, the three-year-old boy who tragically passed away in the accident involving actor Lilwin, is determined to pursue justice for their deceased loved one.

They have expressed their commitment to seeing the matter through to its rightful conclusion.

During a radio interview, a family member disclosed that they possess evidence indicating that Lilwin was under the influence of alcohol when he collided with the boy’s father’s vehicle.

The family member further alleged that Lilwin was not only intoxicated but was also driving recklessly at the time of the incident.

Additionally, it was claimed that Lilwin had alcoholic beverages stored in the trunk of his car following the accident.

Moreover, the family member asserted that Lilwin’s actions in court on Monday, where he appeared to be injured, were deceptive.

According to the family member, Lilwin had shown no signs of injury in the days after the accident, as he had attended a movie premiere and a church service without any apparent issues.

Meanwhile, Lilwin has been released on bail of GH₵50,000 with 2 sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 27, 2024.

The A Country Called Ghana movie producer was taken into custody on Monday, June 3 by the Manhyia Divisional police command following his alleged role in a tragic accident resulting in the death of a 3-year-old child.
