Mankessim: Woman Nabbed For Attempting To Secretly Bury Dead Husband In A Bush

At Mankessim in the Central Region, a woman in her 50s who tried to bury her dead husband in a bush was found and almost put to death.

The lady reportedly took this action after failing to get in touch with the family of her late husband, Mr Aggrey Coffie, a well-known lotto agent with whom she had lived for more than 20 years.

The information gathered indicated that the deceased had an unidentified illness. The deceased’s wife attempted to get him well before his departure but was unsuccessful because she didn’t know any of her family members.

She then put her husband’s body in a bag and hired some men to assist her in secretly burying him in a bush on February 25, 2023, at about 7:30 PM.

However, some of the woman’s neighbours captured her after learning about the incident and nearly assaulted her. Some neighbours who spoke with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan claimed that before the man died, he frequently became agitated when people enquired about where he comes from.

They assert that they never spoke to the deceased during the deceased’s more than fifteen years of living with him because some people believe he was a ghost.
