Mark Okraku Martey Has Failed Us- Hammer
Legendary music producer Hammer recently appeared as a guest on Andy Dosty’s Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, where he shed light on Mark Okraku Martey’s time as a deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
Hammer emphasized that Mark’s extensive experience in the creative arts, spanning from the analogue era to the digital age, should have positioned him perfectly to address the industry’s challenges during his tenure as a deputy minister. This new development has added a new layer to entertainment in Ghana.
However, Hammer expressed his disappointment, stating that Mark seemed to have disregarded the music industry’s concerns and instead prioritized his political ambitions.
A video circulating on Tiktok and sighted by Tru News Report captures Hammer pouring out his heart, expressing his frustration over Mark’s failure to address many of the industry’s issues.

On the same subject, Bulldog has expressed his strong opinion about Mark Okraku Mantey in the past, stating that he is not fit to be a lawmaker in Ghana’s parliament. According to Bulldog, Okraku Mantey has been a failure as a politician ever since he became a minister four years ago.
Bulldog believes that if Okraku Mantey wins the seat as a Member of Parliament, he will not contribute anything meaningful to the Ayensuano constituency.
Bulldog made these remarks during an interview on the United Showbiz show on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He emphasized that Okraku Mantey, who is also a music producer, has not made any significant contributions to the creative sector during his time in office and therefore does not deserve the opportunity to become a legislator.
‘‘He has done nothing in office for four years in government so as MP, what is he going to do there? He is not worthy of that space because he has contributed nothing to our sector. The people of his constituency should not even waste their time to vote for him because he will not bring about any change,’’ he emphasized.
