Maurice Ampaw Responds To Agyinasare’s Jab At Nogokpo

Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the Founder and Leader of Perez Chapel International, has been condemned by lawyer Maurice Ampaw for his recent actions in relation to the ongoing conflict between him pastor and the Nogokpo community in the Volta Region.

On his show, Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem, he expressed his displeasure at the recent celebration surrounding Agyinasare’s refusal to comply with a 14-day ultimatum issued by the community in response to a comment he made that upset them.

The archbishop’s refusal to go before them led to his jubilation when the deadline passed without the dreadful repercussions that had been predicted.

Charles Agyinasare came under fire from several members of the public after one of his sermons, in which the Archbishop called Nogokpo the “demonic headquarters” of the Volta Region. As Tru News Report previously published, the man of God was ordered to appear before the religious leaders of Nogokpo in the Ketu South Municipality.

“Now, let us come to Aginasare, one of the younger men of God who gives me a lot of inspiration when it comes to healing and massive teaching. He has been in the ministry for so many years, both the healing ministry and the teaching ministry…he has even raised his own children, who are now pastors, and he is a well-respected man of God, but I just don’t understand what Agyinasare is now becoming, I just don’t understand.

“I am worried and confused because this is a well-respected man of God who began this ministry and began healing the sick more than 30 years ago…one of your statements made the entire community of Nogokpo unhappy; they invited you to a meeting you didn’t attend they will not be happy.

“But I didn’t see them threatening you with their gods; I didn’t see them challenging you to die; I didn’t see them challenging you to disappear. There was no display of the devil or the God that you serve … Peace Council has come in to make peace, and at the end of the day, nobody is expecting Nogokpo to punish Agyinasare to die,” he said, as quoted by Ghanaweb.
