Mayorkun Teams Up With An Artiste Fans Think He’s Beefing On New Jam
Mayorkun is set to drop a new jam featuring an unnamed artiste and he has informed his fans that hitherto people think he has a problem with this artiste he just collaborate with.
He disclosed on Twitter that he recently recorded new music with an artiste who many believe he will never work with because of a rumoured beef. Mayorkun advised fans not to criticize or make offensive remarks when their music eventually drops.
He wrote; “Made music with someone y’all thought I would never make music with, make I no hear any negative pim o, ok.”
This comes months after Wizkid made a similar revelation that his next album features an artiste that will shock many fans when released.
Born on 23 March 1994, Mayorkun, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and pianist. He released a cover of Davido’s “The Money” single and was discovered by the singer on Twitter.
Mayorkun was signed to Davido’s record label DMW from 2016 to 2021; his debut single “Eleko” was released under the label.
Mayorkun released his debut studio album The Mayor of Lagos in November 2018. After his exit from DMW in 2021; he released “Let Me Know” and his second studio album Back In Office in October 2021, under Sony Music West Africa division.
