He completed his primary schooling at Homabay Lake Primary School. He used to travel barefoot to and from school, occasionally going without food. In 2017 and 2018, he moved to Hot 96 FM and then to Radio Milele, respectively. Online rumours circulated that Jalang’o lost his job and that businesses cancelled their contracts with him as a result of the “Boys’ Club Scandal.” This, however, was not demonstrated.
