Mr Eazi Floors Nigerian Man Who Questioned Him Over ‘Detty Rave’ Hosted In Ghana

Mr. Eazi found himself in a confrontation with a fan who raised concerns about his decision to bring his Detty Rave event to Ghana, despite the country’s restrictions on foreign songs, particularly from Nigeria.

The incident occurred after the musician shared updates on the progress of the preparations for his upcoming concert, scheduled for December 27, 2023. Detty Rave is an annual concert organized by Mr. Eazi, that has been taking place in Accra, Ghana since 2017.

In line with the misleading information propagated by certain Nigerian blogs regarding the Play Ghana initiative, a Nigerian fan questioned Mr. Eazi’s choice of hosting the high-profile concert in what they considered enemy territory.

“Accra wen want ban 9ja music na im u dey go do show,” the netizen quizzed. In response, Mr. Eazi angrily lashed out at the social media user, asking if he had any basis for his arguments.

Mr. Eazi questioned whether the netizen, who was described as uninformed and unaware, had come across any legislation pertaining to the matter or heard any statements from the president regarding it.

“Olodo so you see am for presidential declaration abi the law pass for parliament?! Next time use your brain small!” Mr. Eazi responded.
