Nigerian Pastor Arrested After Woman Died In His Hotel Room

Controversial Nigerian pastor, Timothy Otu who happens to be the General Overseer of Agape Evangelical Ministries (City of Miracles), has been arrested after a married female evangelist who lodged with him in a hotel was found dead in Aba, Abia State.

Evangelist Happiness Echezie, a mother of five, is the deceased, according to Promise Uzoma Okoro, who narrated the sad news to reporters.

She reportedly stayed with Bishop Timothy on Saturday, August 11, 2023, at the Jubilee Guest House Ovom in Ogborhill. According to reports, Timothy tried to flee by pretending to the receptionist that he was going to purchase food.

Around 1am on Sunday, the hotel management reported the incident to the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in the Obingwa Local Government Area after suspecting foul play.

When Nigerian Police officers arrived at the scene of the crime, they saw the woman lying face down with frothy saliva coming from her lips and nose.
