Nigerians Are Not As Smart As I Thought – BBNaija Star, CeeC

Cynthia Nwadiora, known widely as CeeC, has stated bluntly that Nigerians are not as smart as she had thought because of their penchant for preying on false reports about her without authenticating them.

She expressed that numerous claims made about her following the conclusion of the reality show made her realize that people were not as intelligent as she had believed. In a recent episode of the “I Said What I Said” podcast, co-hosted by FK Abudu and Jolz, the 30-year-old reality star candidly shared her thoughts.

Additionally, she expressed uncertainty about the value of returning to the Big Brother house. CeeC was asked what one thing had changed since leaving the All Stars house, and she responded, “I think the kind of information I consume has changed. I thought Nigerians knew better, so coming out and hearing certain narratives and things that were not even true…

“I thought you guys were smarter than this, but then I realized that Nigerians were not as smart as I thought. So that was shocking to me but I was like yeah, that is why our country is the way it is now”.

“I’m still trying to figure out whether it was worth it or not but I’ve accepted that I went back for a reason and God blessed me even the second time so we move,” CeeC said.

Prior to achieving fame, Cee-C held the position of secretary at Esmic International Limited in Lagos. Additionally, she gained experience as a trainee at Fidelis Oditah & Co in Lekki Phase 1 and Sterling Partnership Legal Practitioners in Lagos state.

However, her career took a new direction after entering the corporate world. She rose to prominence as one of the contestants in the 2018 edition of the reality television series, Big Brother Naija, previously known as Big Brother Naija Double Wahala.

Although she did not emerge as the winner, she secured the position of the second runners-up, which significantly boosted her presence on various social media platforms. Cee-C made a comeback in the eighth season of Big Brother Naija, which premiered on Sunday, 23 July 2023, on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
