The nominees for the 2023 Oscars Awards were revealed on January 24 by Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams, and as expected, several celebrities and widely praised films were included.
There were a lot of nominations for “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,” including best film, best director, best actress, best supporting actress, best-supporting actor, and best original screenplay. With 11 nods, it was the most nominated of all the works considered.
There were a lot of films that received several nominations, including Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans” (seven nominations) and “The Banshees of Inisherin” (nine nominations). The two biggest movies of 2022, “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “Avatar: The Way of Water,” were both nominated for best picture.
The 95th Oscars Awards will celebrate the nominees and their films on March 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC. For the third time, TV host Jimmy Kimmel will be the evening’s host, he hosted the 2017 and 2018 awards.
