Nurse Found Dead With Her Womb Removed After Clubbing

A lady’s gruesome murder has sparked emotions on the internet and left her entire community in a complete state of shock.

The nurse, Omoniyi Boluwatife, was found dead and evacuated by the Police in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. Boluwatife, a graduate of Lead City University, was inducted on Tuesday into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, according to reports.

Her lifeless body was discovered the following morning lying near a major road, but the evening took a terrible turn. A video of the upsetting scenario that shows bystanders expressing their pity and shock at the unfortunate sight has gone viral on social media.

While the specifics of her death are still unknown, a distressing accusation that her womb was taken has surfaced, raising questions about potential ritualistic motives. The practice of “Sakawa,” which entails ceremonial sacrifices for a number of purposes, is the focus of the suspicion.

Reacting to the news of her death, the club where she reportedly went, Copacabana denied that the incident happened within their premises, adding that their management will not take responsibility for incidents that occur outside their premises.

In a press statement that was made available to our correspondent on Friday, the management, said, “It saddens our hearts to hear about the tragic event that happened to some customers after leaving our facility.

“However, as a nightclub, we cannot take responsibility for incidents that occur outside our premises. Although, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

“Our nightclub prioritizes the safety of all our patrons. Our venue is equipped with top-notch security systems making it one of the most protected facilities in the city of Ibadan.

Meanwhile, efforts to reach the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Adewale Osifeso, proved abortive, as calls and messages put to his telephone number were unanswered as of the time of filing this report.
