Policeman In Viral Video ‘Dissing’ Akufo-Addo, Bawumia Interdicted

The police administration has announced that an inspector in the Central Region, identified as Benjamin Doe Kuwornu, has been interdicted after he criticized President Nana Akufo-Addo and his vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on social media.

The video of Chief Inspector Kuwornu expressing his dissatisfaction with the way the duo is governing the country gained traction, leading to disciplinary action from the Police Administration.

In the video, Chief Inspector Kuwornu referred to President Akufo-Addo as “incompetent” and accused him of destroying Ghana’s resources. He also criticized the advisers around the president for not telling him the truth, resulting in grave mistakes that undermined Ghana’s foundation.

“Mr President, you are destroying our nation. I want to meet you one on one…,” he said, adding “You are making a serious mistake….”

GHANA POLICE SERVICE INTERDICTS AN OFFICER FOR UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT The Ghana Police Service has interdicted a Police Chief Inspector, Benjamin Doe Kuwornu, stationed in the Central Region, for misconducting himself in a video which has been sighted by the Police Administration. This is to allow for a thorough investigation into his conduct in line with Police Service Regulations. We would like to reiterate our assurance to the general public that the Police Service will continue to ensure that professionalism is maintained at all times in the discharge of our mandate.
