Popular Indian Actor And Director, Mangal Dhillon Dead
Mangal Dhillon, an Indian actor and writer, died on Sunday in Ludhiana, Punjab.
He was reportedly afflicted with cancer. His family members informed fans of his passing on social media saying;
“Aaj sadde Harman piyare Mangal Dhillon ji Sanu sariyan nu alvida keh ke akal chalana kar gaye ne… waheguru ji ohna nu sachkhand vich apne charna vich niwas bakshe.. (Today, our dear Mangal Dhillon has said his last farewell to us. May Waheguru bless him),” the note read.
According to actor Yashpal Sharma of IndianExpress.com, Mangal Dhillon has been ailing for a while. He was admitted to the Cancer Hospital in Ludhiana, where he passed away this morning. He expressed his sorrow over the actor’s passing on social media as well, writing “Mangal Dhillon ji RIP.”
Mangal Dhillon began his career in Punjabi theatre, and he has since appeared in a large number of TV programs and motion pictures. Buniyaad, Junoon, Khoon Bhari Maang, and Vishwatma are some of his well-known works. In the Doordarshan series Noorjahan, he was last seen.
Mangal Dhillon has been a spiritual motivator and has dabbled with direction as well. He was survived by his wife Ritu Dhillon.
Mangal Dhillon was an Indian actor, writer, director and film producer. He was born in Wander Jatana near Kotkapura in Faridkot district, Punjab.
The renowned actor’s real name is Mangal Singh Dhillon. He was born on 18 June 1958 and died on 11 June 2023.
