A well-known pastor, Prophet Kwesi Nsonyameye Yaka, widely recognized as Spiritual IGP, narrowly escaped a lynching by enraged residents in Awutu Bereku, Central Region.
The incident unfolded after the pastor was allegedly caught in the act of attempting to engage in a sexual encounter with a married woman.

Prophet Yaka, the founder and leader of Graceland Chapel International, purportedly told the married woman that she needed spiritual cleansing to address her marital issues.
He convinced her that the principalities tormenting her could only be exorcised through a spiritual cleansing, which shockingly involved them sleeping together.
Upon learning of the prophet’s questionable intentions, the woman informed her family. Together, they laid an ambush and caught the religious leader red-handed in her matrimonial home.
Adom News reporter, Kofi Adjei, who covered the incident, revealed that angry residents stripped the prophet naked and subjected him to severe beatings.
It was only due to the intervention of some compassionate individuals that Spiritual IGP avoided being lynched.
Following the assault, Prophet Yaka was promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

This isn’t the first time the religious leader has faced accusations of sexual misconduct.
Exactly one year ago, he was arrested for allegedly defiling a minor, claiming it was part of a spiritual cleansing ritual.
Residents in the area expressed little surprise about the pastor’s conduct, with one resident, Esi Gyamfua, describing the self-proclaimed prophet as a “womanizer” known for his preference for curvy plus-size women with large breasts.
