The football world has been rocked by the tragic death of Portuguese footballer Paollo Madeira Oliveira who was crushed to death alongside coach and team doctor in a horror car crash.
According to VNExpress, club president Doan Nguyen Duc stated that assistant coach Duong Minh Ninh, 48, Doan Trong Tri, 29, and the 27-year-old Oliveira were leaving for home. To get the passengers out of the car when the ghastly accident happened, locals tried to break down the doors.
He said: “I was shocked because of the accident. It is such a great loss to the club.” Oliveira played football in Portugal beginning in 2011 for the youth teams Imortal, Quarteirense, Farense 1910, Estrela da Amadora and Farense, according to Ojogo.
Last year, the deceased was loaned by the Faro Lions to Hong Linh Ha Tinh, from Vietnam, before making the move permanent this season.
