Samini Reveals His Favourite Shatta Wale Song Despite Their Beef

Samini engaged his fans in a Question and Answer session on Twitter hours ago and as expected, his fans seized the moment to bombard him with a lot of questions, one of which is under the spotlight herein.

This particular fan asked him what his favourite Shatta Wale song is. Given the age-long rivalry between Samini and the SM boss, the significance of the question elicited much attention. Without hesitation, Samini mentioned that Shatta Wale’s monster hit, ‘On God’ is his favourite.

“What’s your favourite Shattawalegh song?” The tweep asked, to which Samini responded, “On God.”

Likewise, despite their seeming beef, Samini has come up with some compliments for Sarkodie over his verse spewed on Bob Marley’s Stir It Up remix.

During the same Question and Answer on Twitter, fans inundated the Dancehall legend with questions and he answered the most significant ones. During the session, one tweep asked him to share his opinion about the song which has become topical on social media.

Responding, Samini said Sarkodie did his best contrary to the low opinion being expressed by Ghanaians over the feature. He was however quick to add that he prefers the original version to this one. He stated;

“It’s a nice jam…I’m not too amazed tho cus it’s a song I love from time. I think he did his thing on the rap still. I mean it’s sark. You’d expect him to kill his verses at least. In my opinion, he did. I still love the original track though. Nothing beats that,” Samini posted;
