Sarkodie Receives Massive Love As He Turns Up At Akwaaba Village for Afua Asantewaa’s Sing-a-thon

Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie arrived at Akwaaba Village in Accra on Tuesday to lend moral support to Afua Asantewaa in her attempt to break the current world record for the longest singing marathon.

At about 64 hours into the sing-a-thon, which commenced at 12:00 am on December 24, 2023, Sarkodie and his Sarkcess team pulled up at the Akwaaba Village to a rousing welcome by hundreds of Ghanaians who were already cheering Afua on.

After taking time to exchange pleasantries with some members of the crowd, Sarkodie made his way into Afua’s booth, where he shared a moment of encouragement with her.

Asantewaa’s sing-a-thon is expected to continue until December 27, 2023, after which she will extend for another nine hours to meet her target.

Since the commencement of the event, it has turned out to be the focal point of entertainment in Ghana over the past few days.

Several personalities, including Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have turned up at the Akwaaba Village to support Asantewaa.

Celebrities including Shatta Wale, Nana Ama McBrown, Sister Afia, Kwaku Manu, Kuami Eugene and a host of others have also graced the venue.
