Shatta Wale Ordered By Court To Apologise To Bulldog
According to a recent court order, Shatta Wale must apologize to his former manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson in order to reach a settlement in the defamation case brought against him.
Bulldog slapped Wale with a lawsuit in reaction to his wild allegations that he (Bulldog) was responsible for the killing of Fennec Okyere, the manager of Kwaw Kese. On November 2, 2022, Shatta Wale published a Facebook post in which he stated these accusations.
The Accra High Court allowed the request made by Shatta Wale’s attorneys to settle the dispute out of court during a prior court session. After a month had passed, Shatta Wale’s legal team came to court to announce a significant development: the parties had, in fact, achieved an initial understanding of the parameters of the settlement.
Then, in order to give the parties time to hammer out the details of the settlement, Shatta Wale’s attorneys asked for a one-month postponement. The agreed-upon terms were supposed to be submitted to the court as a consent judgment. After hearing from Bulldog’s attorneys that a settlement had been reached in principle, the Accra High Court presided over by Justice Joseph Adu Agyemang Owusu, put the matter on hold.
One of the terms of the settlement, according to a Starr FM story, calls for a formal apology to Bulldog. An important step has been taken toward resolving the conflict between Shatta Wale and Bulldog with the settlement of this litigation outside of court.
Along with other mutually agreed upon stipulations, the public apology tries to allay the complaints brought up during the court procedures.
This new step raises the possibility of a future reconciliation between the two parties. The plaintiff’s and defendant’s attorneys will now concentrate on finalizing the settlement conditions and ensuring that both Shatta Wale and Bulldog can proceed successfully.
Shatta Wale accuses Bulldog of killing Fennec Okyere
When Bulldog leaked a section of Shatta Wale’s next album Gift of God in 2022, the rapper vowed to reveal Bulldog.
Wale gave notice that he would disclose what he claims actually occurred in relation to the murder of late artist manager Fennec Okyere.
Shatta Wale stated in a Facebook post that he is prepared to share with any court what Bullgod revealed to him on the murder of Fennec Okyere.
He wrote “Bull Dog, since you are bringing out secrets, you will tell Ghanaians what happen to Fenicks (sic) Murder!! And I am not joking about this time!! I am ready to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men and how planned that foolish act, get ready.
