Stonebwoy Is A Genuis-Wyclef Says As They Meet In His New York Mansion

Wyclef Jean expressed his admiration for Stonebwoy, the Ghanaian artist, who was on his American tour during their encounter at his residence in New York.

A video circulating on social media captured the legendary Wyclef commending Stonebwoy for his significant efforts in advancing African music. He said:

Insanely talented. Not even talent, how do I define genius? Because I’m genius. I don’t define genius…you’re not forever and you’re doing trends That’s not what makes you a genius. A genius is like can you move a generation forward? And long after you have gone. Can that generation keep moving forward?

That’s why I say he is a genius. I’ve watched him for a very long time. What he has done is he has moved Africa forward.

A sequel to the video shared shows the Haitian-American artiste savouring the flavours of Ghanaian cuisine, Waakye, which was introduced to him by Stonebwoy.

After relishing spoonfuls of this widely enjoyed dish throughout Ghana, Wyclef expressed his fondness for the food and inquired about its origins.

Acting as a cultural ambassador, Stonebwoy took the opportunity to enlighten Wyclef that the dish is originally known as shinkafa da wake, but is commonly referred to as Waakye.

During their conversation, the two artists delved into various topics, such as their initial meeting, music, and the possibility of collaborating.

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy continued to enjoy a generous serving of Waakye, accompanied by its melodious tunes.
