Taylor Swift Kicks Off ‘Eras Tour’ With Epic Performance After 3-Year Hiatus

For the first time in three years, Taylor Swift returned to the stage on Friday night to launch her highly anticipated “Eras Tour.”

The tour began at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on March 16, 2023. The concert, which lasted for more than three hours was a tremendous success, as fans took to social media to express their enthusiasm and admiration for the event.

Swift began the performance with her “Lovers Period,” performing six songs from her 2019 album “Lover,” which she never had the opportunity to tour in its entirety. She then delivered a three-song set dedicated to her album “Fearless,” which was brief but beautiful.

Swift sang a number of songs from her record-breaking 2022 album “Midnights,” including “Anti-Hero,” “Lavender Haze,” “Mastermind,” and “Bejeweled,” before concluding the concert with the high-energy hit “Karma.”

Swift’s set list covered more than 40 songs, likely proving to her fans that an exhausting wait for their anti-hero Taylor Swift to return to the stage was well worth it.

Taylor Swift got emotional, telling the crowd that she was “really overwhelmed.” The “Eras Tour” since announced has been plagued with ticketing issues, with many fans unable to secure tickets due to high demand and technical difficulties with Ticketmaster.

Despite these issues, Swift’s concert was a success. Fans were thrilled to see her perform live again and sang along to all of her hits. Swift herself seemed moved by the experience and thanked the crowd for their support.

The “Eras Tour” is set to continue throughout the year, with more concerts scheduled in cities around the world. While there may be some bumps along the way, it’s clear that Taylor Swift’s “Swifties,”  are eager to see her perform and will do whatever it takes to get their hands on tickets.
