Taylor Swift Named 5th Most Powerful Woman In The World
Songstress Taylor Swift has been named the fifth most powerful woman in the world, according to Forbes’ 2023 list, surpassing both Beyoncé and Rihanna.
Undoubtedly, this year has been monumental for the talented singer as she continues to shatter records with her Eras World Tour, poised to become the highest-grossing global tour in history. Additionally, her concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” is on track to become the most successful concert film ever released.
Taylor and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, take the lead, followed by European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde. United States Vice President Kamala Harris secures the third spot, while Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni claims the fourth position. Notably, Beyoncé secures the 36th position on the list, thanks to her remarkable achievements this year.
Her Renaissance album and concert film garnered immense global success, making her the most awarded artist in the history of the recording industry after her Grammy wins in February. Rihanna, on the other hand, secures the 74th position on the list. Forbes highlights the success of her companies, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty, along with her captivating Superbowl Halftime Performance as the highlights of her year.
“As ever, the 2023 Power List was determined by four main metrics: money, media, impact and spheres of influence,” Forbes wrote.
