The Devil Has A Special Place In His Heart For Musicians – Hammer

Ghanaian record producer Hammer of The Last Two says that Satan has a strong interest in the music industry and uses the musicians’ fondness for drugs and alcohol as an example.

As producer Hammer sees it, Lucifer, who was previously the best musician in heaven, is said to have a particular interest in wiping off musicians because he views them as competition now that he has been banished from the heavenly realm.

Hammer said that drug use was a big reason why many talented musicians ended up committing suicide or seeing their careers fall apart.

During a conversation on Showbiz 927 on 3FM hammer explained how Lucifer (or Satan) is linked to music. The interest in music that he revealed was there in Lucifer long before he was sent down to Hell is really interesting. So he warned his fellow musicians against making the devil’s job easier by engaging in risky behaviors like drug use.

“There’s something that I’ve always said. The devil upon a time was supposed to be the greatest musician in the heavens. The devil was the leader of music in the heavens. That tells us that the devil has a special place in his heart for musicians. He is attracted to musicians. So we can only understand that, as musicians, we need to be careful.” he said.

He emphasized that another possible link between drugs and alcohol could be the search for inspiration.

Many people think these substances might help them be more creative. He elaborated, saying, “The arts are about inspiration.” It just clicks for certain folks. People looking for it must go looking for it. Because of this, many upcoming artists actively seek out new sources of inspiration.
